How do I calibrate the door operator?

The DIGIWAY system benefits from an easy-to-use auto-calibration feature
To successfully complete the auto-calibration, you will need to:
  1. Set the spring pre-load tension (learn more)
  2. Set the door limits (learn more)
  3. Initiate the auto-calibration (learn more).
To complete the auto-calibration all in one go, follow these steps:

1. SETTING SPRING PRE-LOAD TENSION
  1. Open the DIGIWAY app and find the right operator that you want to programme.
  2. Hold down OK to open the programming menu.
  3. From the menu, select Door Calibration and then Spring Preload
  4. Switch the door to Free Mode using the slider in the bottom-left of the app screen.
  5. Then, increase the spring tension to at least 90.
  6. Check if the pins on the operator are lined up with the arm.
  7. Fix the arm to the DIGIWAY operator and pull the door open to check that you have enough tension to close it.
  8. Press OK to return to the menu.
2. SETTING DOOR LIMITS
  1. From the menu, select Door Limits.
  2. Open the door, and when at its open limit, press OK
  3. Close the door, and when fully closed, press OK again.
  4. Press OK to return to the menu.
3. INITIATING AUTO-CALIBRATION
  1. From the menu, select Auto-Calibration
  2. Press OK to confirm and proceed with calibration.
  3. The door will automatically open and close fully five times while calibrating.
  4. Once complete, exit the menu and change the door back to Auto Mode using the slider.
You can test the calibrated DIGIWAY by triggering an open command using the Open/Close button on the app screen.
