How can I prevent IP blocking during testing?
If registration fails repeatedly during tested because of IP blocking, you can temporarily disable the SIP account. This will prevent automatic blocking by security policies common in VoIP telephony services such as 3CX.
Should SRTP be enabled?
SRTP can be enabled for encrypted media. However, note that it may change the SIP port and requires correct configuration. Consult the installation manual or contact our installer support team for assistance.

Is port forwarding recommended with Robin intercoms?
No. Generally, we do not recommend port forwarding with Robin intercoms due to security risks. A secure network setup or VPN is the preferred option.
Can the intercom be accessed remotely?
By default, access is limited to the local network. Remote access is possible, but should be configured securely. Please contact our technical support team for further information.
Should I change the default password?
Yes. We strongly recommend that you change the default administrator password immediately after installation, to maximise your building's security.
