Microsoft Teams does not support direct SIP device registration. A gateway such as
CyberGate is required to translate SIP communication into Teams-compatible signalling.
In order to integrate successfully, you will need a valid CyberGate licence and a configured domain or WAN IP. In addition, you will need to register your intercom device on the Cyber Gate platform.
CyberGate acts as a bridge between SIP and Microsoft Teams. Calls are routed from the intercom to Microsoft Teams users or groups.
This integration enables the use of Robin intercoms in enterprise collaboration environments. Users are able to receive intercom calls on any Microsoft Teams device.
The integration supports both audio and video communications.
Live video is only supported if both the intercom and the Microsoft Teams endpoint support video.
Microsoft Teams users can also open the door via the intercom by configuring a DTMF code. When triggered from the Microsoft Teams interface, the intercom receives the signal and activates the relay to unlock and/or open the door.
