How do I connect my phone to my monitor with the 2EASY app?

PLEASE NOTE: There are two different apps available for use with the 2EASY system. This article includes instructions for the 2EASY app. The newer and more advanced app is called VDP Connect. Learn how to download and configure VDP Connect here. 




Make sure you have downloaded the 2EASY app, which is available on iOS and Android. 

You can use the 2EASY app to connect to your monitor and door stations, to view the door station camera from your phone and speak to visitors in real time. To set this up, follow the steps below: 
  1. First, on the home screen of your 2EASY monitor, press the SIP Config icon at the bottom of the screen: 
  2. Then, open the 2EASY app on your phone.
  3. From the main menu, select Assistant.
  4. Then, press the QR code scanner icon in the top right-hand corner of the app screen. 
  5.  When the camera opens, scan the QR code on the monitor by positioning the QR code within the box on the app screen.
  6. Once the QR code has been successfully scanned, press Save on the app.
  7. On the 2EASY monitor, you can now return to the home screen. The connection has been successfully set up. 
  8. To view the door station camera through the app, press the green video icon on the app. 
  9. Your phone will connect to the door station and show you the view through the camera.
    1. You can now speak to the visitor using the microphone and unlock the door remotely from the app.
