CDV-27 2EASY Video Door Entry Wiring

What is the multi-coloured wire plug with the CDV-27 for?

This wire offers additional features that are not commonly used in most installations. 

It can give 12Vdc 100mA when a monitor is called, and two of the wires can be used as a doorbell connection if required.
