Use Threadlock on all your maglock installations
Threadlock is the unsung hero of electro-magnetic locking projects.
It's an adhesive that secures bolts and fixings in the correct place.
Without Threadlock, the tiny vibrations in the magnet in normal operation can gradually loosen fixings over time. If you use Threadlock, the performance and lifetime of the maglock are both increased.
Threadlock bonds in less than 10 minutes and fills gaps to 0.25mm.
However - don't use Studlock instead. Studlock is not a direct replacement for Threadlock. If you use Studlock instead, the screws will NEVER come out. You have been warned!
