Is installing a network cable worth the effort?

Is installing a network cable worth the effort?

We hear this question a lot. Not all buildings, particularly residential homes, are set up with Ethernet cables or ports in the correct locations for intercom systems.

However, a wired intercom ensures long-term reliability and the best possible performance from your device. Although installing the correct cabling can require more effort upfront, it is worth the effort for the improved reliability and durability of your intercom. In the long run, it pays off.

Solutions using WiFi connectivity are prone to connectivity issues, poor reliability, and unstable connections, particularly in urban areas, through concrete walls, or over long distances. They also require regular charging if not mains powered.
