The SOS function allowed an emergency message to be sent by SMS. On older CDV-47M monitors the SOS function can be set under ‘Call Scene’ (Divert) but a CDV-GSM is required. Unfortunately, unless existing it is no longer available for new installations or additions.

The SOS light on the CDV-470DX is no longer utilised, it is purely there to show when the monitor is booting up.
