Does the Robin Intercom support Secure SIP?

Yes. 

All Robin intercoms support SIP over UDP, TCP, and Secure SIP via TLS 1.2. This allows secure communication between the intercom and modern IP-PBX and VoIP platforms. 

Secure SIP ensures that call setup data, such as credentials and session information, are encrypted. This is especially important in high security access control environments.

For full encryption of the audio and video content of calls as well as the call signalling data, you need to utilise SRTP, which is fully supported by Robin intercoms. 

In most cases, Secure SIP has only a minimal impact on performance compared to standard SIP. In high security settings, the added security of Secure SIP outweighs the slight increase in processing times.
