Does the intercom require a separate power supply?

No. 

All Robin intercoms are powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet), which means they receive power from the same cable used to connect them to the network. 

This means no separate power supply is needed for the intercom. 

Idea
If there is no appropriate Ethernet port available for the cable, you can use a separate PoE injector to connect the device to mains power instead.
